# Pre-Sale BLOCKS took in limited participation in mid-2021 to help with expenses such as legal, administrative, distribution consultants, etc. This was an invitation only to individuals who are considered accredited investors under US security law. To be clear we are not a security token but very clearly a utility and governance token. The individuals who were invited to participate were known to the project and will be early community members and leaders, who share a passion for decentralization. There will be no further invitations for early participation.
