# Will BLOCKS utilize existing bridges/sidechains or home brewed bridges/side chains?

The goal of BLOCKS is to develop a smarter network grid for blockchain....Meaning, they will use a blend of BLOCKS, bridges and sidechains to deliver faster speeds and lower costs depending on the use case.
